Update

So I ended up doing the Humanity in Action app, and everything actually got turned in on time. I am glad. I was most worried about my letter of rec writers getting their stuff in before the deadline, and I suppose this whole ordeal made me realize how I apparently lack the trust necessary to feel comfortable relying significantly on others to accomplish tasks related to my personal success (or unsuccess). other than that, this was a humbling experience where I basically felt small and unimportant, which is fine, except I do still think just because I'm an undergrad who hasn't really done anything with her life doesn't mean people can't maybe take three seconds to write a 5 word email reply so she doesn't have to ditch a class to stalk you during office hours, but I'm not bitter because it's all over and it all worked out. anyway I don't know if that's a good kind of humble. Oh well.

Tuesday my study abroad application is due. Hooboy. Good thing I have this three day weekend coming up so I can also keep up with my schoolwork! Except, oh wait, I'm really behind on schoolwork. Wheeeee! This semester is keeping me pretty occupied. And work too. It's nice sometimes. But right now all I want to do is sleep.

Just a sidenote: I really really suck at this tagging business. For example, I think half the things I tagged "sexy" are actually not sexy. But we'll see how the stats even out after I accrue some [five billion] more posts.
